Hayley Bryce
Associate, Giving Days (UK)
Hayley has sat where university advancement teams sit. As Head of Marketing and Communications at the University of Sydney, and the person who set up London Business School’s Giving Day programme from scratch, she understands the pressure of launching a giving programme inside a large institution and getting senior stakeholders behind it. With two decades in marketing and fundraising engagement across the UK and Australia, and over 50 UK Giving Days run or advised on, she is a safe pair of hands for a team taking on something new and visible.
Melissa Adair
Associate
An inventive fundraising strategist with more than two decades of experience implementing fundraising approaches across multiple channels. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked with numerous institutions and nonprofits throughout North America to support their objectives and advance their missions. She is located in the Atlanta, Georgia area of the United States.

Board members and advisors
Hubbub is guided by an experienced board spanning technology, higher education, finance and venture investment.
Mark Adey
Board Member
Mark Adey brings two decades of telecoms and technology experience to Hubbub’s board. His background spans large-scale transformation, operations and mobile technology, giving him a practical, operator’s perspective on building and scaling a technology business. He is based in Bath.
Geoffrey Keeys
Board Member
Geoffrey holds a law degree and brings over 30 years of board experience across international business sectors including oil, engineering, and financial services, plus UK public sector roles. He previously served as Director of Group Business Services at Prudential Corporation plc, and held director positions at Chubb plc and Massey Ferguson.
In 1995, he established Strategic Thinking Group in the UK, assisting clients with business strategy development and implementation. His client base spans FTSE 100 and 250 organizations, not-for-profit entities, and early-stage ventures.
His public service includes a non-executive directorship at Her Majesty’s Prison Service during the early 1990s. He has served as trustee for various charities and pension funds, and currently holds trustee status with Water City Music, a charity fostering collaboration among musicians of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Additionally, he invests in and advises several emerging businesses.
Prof David May
Board Member
Prof David May completed his Computer Science degree at Cambridge University in 1972, then moved to Warwick University where he focused on computer architectures for robotics and artificial intelligence. In 1979, he joined microelectronics startup Inmos as chief architect of the Inmos transputer, which pioneered parallel and distributed computing capabilities.
After 16 years in microelectronics, he joined Bristol University in 1995 as Head of Computer Science. He developed innovative degree programmes emphasizing design, teamwork, and entrepreneurship, resulting in multiple student startups. He remained actively involved with Bristol’s microelectronics sector and served as non-executive director and technical advisor to several companies, plus expert witness work in intellectual property cases.
In 2005, he co-founded XMOS and served as Chief Technology Officer. His recent initiatives include developing Bristol’s Innovation degrees, combining academic specialization with design and enterprise education. He holds 50 patents and over 100 publications, with his microprocessor designs featured in numerous products. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of London in 1990 and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2010.
Prof Selby Knox
Board Member
Prof Knox spent most of his career at the University of Bristol, with a period at UCLA. As an academic chemist, he received multiple Royal Society of Chemistry prizes for organometallic transition metal research.
His work evolved toward administration. In 1992, he became Head of the School of Chemistry for nine years, during which the department achieved top ratings in research and teaching. From 2004-2008, he served as Pro Vice-Chancellor overseeing Finance and Estates. His final position as Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor would be comparable to a Provost in North America.
After retiring in 2008, he served four years as a Non-Executive Director on the board of University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He holds BSc, PhD, and DSc degrees from the University of Bristol.
Matt Storeygard
Board Advisor
Matt holds a director position at Connecticut Innovations, the State of Connecticut’s strategic venture arm, where he focuses on sourcing investments, evaluating opportunities, and structuring new deals. He maintains board seats with five early-stage companies, including Hubbub, and serves as a board observer for six additional organizations.
His background includes five years at Cross Sector Consulting, delivering strategic advisory work encompassing planning, financial and competitive analyses, and implementation approaches for clients across healthcare, education, community development finance, and workforce sectors. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Haverford College and an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management.
Victoria Navazo
Board Advisor
Victoria Navazo is Head of Finance and Portfolio at Wayra, Telefonica’s corporate venture capital arm, based in London. She advises Hubbub’s board with deep financial and investment expertise, drawing on her experience backing and scaling technology companies across a global corporate venture portfolio.
