Reporting to the Commercial Director, we are looking for a New Business and Sales Operations Executive to support the Commercial Director and CEO to engage and nurture relationships with potential customers who are interested in discovering more about our products and services. This is initially a 6-month contract that we hope will progress to a permanent role.

About this role
This is a critical role that will assist the Commercial Director and CEO in the process of discovering, engaging and nurturing relationships with potential new customers. This role will ensure that all relationships are effectively managed throughout all stages of our sales process as well as assisting with any other task that relates to the creation of new customer relationships.
As the ideal candidate, you will be relied upon to research, identify and build rapport with potential new customers and will enjoy engaging those individuals in conversations with curiosity and the desire to provide added benefit. You will ensure that potential new customers feel fully informed and taken care of at all times.
This can be a full- or part-time/flexible role (salary/benefits pro-rated)
We are a remote first team, mostly based in the UK, with the option of having flexible office membership if necessary. This role will mainly be in typical business working hours with the option/need for overtime outside these hours, sometimes. We are open to flexible working arrangements. We understand the importance of in-person contact and have at least 2 company gatherings a year (we aim for more).

Salary and benefits
Annual Salary of £25K to £35K (dependent on location, with some flexibility for the right candidate)

Strongly IT literate, with experience of Google/Hubspot (or similar CRM).
Display a strong telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Highly personable, able to build positive relationships quickly. You over-communicate and have the ability to control a busy email inbox.
While not essential, a basic understanding of fundraising within the UK education space or wider charity space is extremely beneficial
Work actively with the Commercial Director and CEO on a day-to-day basis, dealing with all sales pipeline activities -including, organising meetings (and their agendas), scheduling platform demonstrations, following up with active relationships by email or phone, and assisting with events tied to the creation of new relationships with potential customers.
Own and manage the sales pipeline. Supporting the research of possible leads, organisation of the leads within our CRM system, outbound marketing and sequence communications, collaborating with team members involved in new customer relationships and keeping everyone updated on progress through the lifecycle of the deal.
Work with Account Managers to maintain or create suitable systems or processes to proactively manage customers beyond the initial sale.
You’re success in the role
Your success will be measured in a few simple ways, the priority of which will be your ability to increase the number of new deals that are created in the sales pipeline as well as assisting in the average amount of time it takes to see those deals to successful completion. Metrics you will be measured against are:
Number of outbound attempts made to marketing/warm leads
Number of demo requests as a result of outbound attempts
% of deals created from generated leads
% of successful deals won
